Ellijay is the Apple Capital of Georgia, we are home to the Apple Festival which plays host to over 300 of the most unique vendors that you will ever find. The Apple Festival is held the second and third weekend every year in October. In addition to the Apple Festival, we have some of the most beautiful apple orchards that you will ever lay eyes on.

Fans of the outdoors travel far and wide to come to Ellijay for many different reasons. Ellijay is the Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia with over 50 trails and endless miles of fun.
